"One of my favourite places around Holzgerlingen, if the weather is warm enough to sit outside. Always a good menu, including some great cakes too. And you can go for a walk in the woods after lunch on the trails if you like."

"This is a family favorite. I see the other reviewers have posted pictures of inside dining. I have never eaten indoors. There's about twenty picnic tables and that's where we love to sit. The man is basic German fare. You order them they call your number when it's ready. Very relaxed. We always being family and dogs (i.e. family)."

"This time we entered the Waldgasthof Weiler Hutte. Nice ambiance and friendly personell. We decided to take a nice spetzle dish with meat. As starter a small salad. The main dish was nice and tasty, also the beef was excellent. Due we are here for the first time, decided to take also a desert. That was a little bit disappointing because the young waitress forgot to in form the kitchen, after some time the vanilla ice with warm raspberries. That was very tasty."

"LOVE their Kase spaetzle! This is the place we take out of town family when we want to share authentic German food like schnitzel, flammenkuchen, spaetzle, bratwurst and more. Their biergarten is fantastic but you can eat inside too. Staff is friendly and food is delicious. Small playground is in the biergarten area and there is a small Zipline outside the restaurant area in a field (about 5 min walk) for the kids."
